Barbara Be met community radio presenter Nadia Jae at the recent Industry event in London.
Nadia Jae is a DJ and Presenter for Bang Radio, which is a community radio station that gives young people and communities and organisations the opportunity to express themselves and develop.
Bang Radio supports emerging artists and genres with it’s roots firmly in Hip Hop, R&B, Reggae, Grime, Dubstep and Garage. Nadia Jae is one of their success stories, having graduated through community radio she has used Bang Radio as a platform to hone her DJ and presenting skills and has interviewed some top UK acts such as Giigs, Stormzy and Little Bizzle as well as international stars Brandy and Dru Hill.
The Industry event series allows people to meet and talk to those who have experience and jobs in their chosen industry. This Hip Hop edition featured prominent figures from music and radio.
