Barbara Be meets J Spades at the Industry Event in Wandsworth.
London Rapper J Spades made moves on the underground for many years. The Hackney Rapper, who grew up in both London and Kingston, Jamaica, released various mixtapes to critical acclaim and has since worked with the likes of Naughty Boy, Tinie Tempah, Professor Green, and Tinchy Stryder to name a few.
His MMMP series of mix tapes have featured collaborations with some of the UK’s hottest Hip Hop and Grime talent as well as the track 3000 with American Rapper Wacka Flocka.
J Spades is now ready to pass on his learnings from the industry and inspire other aspiring hip hop and grime artists in the UK to follow his lead. The Industry series allows aspiring people to meet, speak to and learn from leaders in their chosen industry. It is a platform for educating and advising creative people. J Spades spoke at Hip Hop edition of the event.
