Music 4 Children train young people in DJ’ing and music production. Clarry Mcdonald the chairman of the charity discusses how it all came about and who they are focused on.
Established about 9 years ago, they focus on performance arts, it’s free for the local community and mainly aimed at children. Simon runs the childrens’ DJ and music workshop and works on fundraising for the charity, he discusses (Mera Peak 6,600 metres) mountain gig, a fantastic fundraising event.
They also have a radio to train for presenting/dj’ing with radio shows, on their station Urban Jazz Radio, they were planning to build a studio in an empty room, we hope they were successful.
