The catwalk shows and diversity of LFW is fashion at its height of art and creative, flamboyant expression. A mix of styles, cultures, colours and themes. Anything goes and anything fits, the more eye catching the better, the more dramatic the more the models stand out. An up market sophisticated event that also represents style with no stereotyping and fashion with no judgment other than full creativity and talent.

The designer catwalk shows are usually reserved for professional stylists and fashion editors. Each season, London Fashion Week Festival selects four of London’s hottest designers to show their seasonal collection on the catwalk and dedicates one day of the event to each designer. Each show will feature the work of one designer and lasts approximately 30 minutes. Book soon to avoid missing out on this unique experience.

Of the four fashion capitals, London is the only city that hosts the Designer Showrooms in the same space as its official show space, putting a spotlight on this broader group of designers. It is the Designer Showrooms that have launched many global brands, including a number of on-schedule designers.

The international element of the showrooms illustrates that the doors to London are truly open. With exhibiting designers that hail from Taiwan, Egypt, London and everywhere in between, the pull of London on a global scale is undeniable. The UK continues to be an attractive and fertile home for an array of designer businesses of any size, and from any place, and the designers in the exhibition this season really highlight that.

Taking part in London Fashion Week’s Designer Showrooms gives brands the exposure they need to make new connections with buyers and press, service existing clients and reconnect with those who you have worked with in the past. It also provides a valuable business opportunity to network with your peers.

Showing alongside brands who have been selected by the British Fashion Council, and carefully curated within the Designer Showrooms, raises the profile of your brand and puts you on the map as part of LFW’s edit to see.
