Soul Singer Songwriter Melissa James presents Sing4Sane – a collaborative Initiative with mental health organisation SANE.
“Best current British blues singer I know.” – Tom Robinson, BBC 6 Music.
Following the release of her “big sing” style charity record, “Live Again”, singer-songwriter Melissa James appears at the Virgin Money Lounge, Eagle Place to talk about her project for mental health awareness called SING4SANE. Melissa performed a short set to include “Live Again” alongside some singing participants. An event to inspire, lift hearts and encourage smiles.
Alfred Bailey and Melissa James presented a discussion and debate after the performance about why the project has been set up and the importance of raising awareness and relieving stigmas. Marjorie Wallace, the CEO and Founder of SANE mental health charity also spoke at the event.
Great musical performance from both Melissa and her pianist Jonathon Holder.
