Performance DPMO – young people at Platinum devised their own performance written about issues in the community and connected to their own lives.
They wrote tracks, play and devised the dance choreographing with their teachers. Barbara spoke with founder Nina Lewis in regards to the show DPMO – ‘Don’t pissed me off’.
The performance was showcased in various venues, receiving a much deserved, selection of great reviews. The young dancers were good to chat to, and explained that it will reach out to young people as its showcasing what is important to young people.
